![]() Killing mobs make their bodies scatter into pieces. This makes hunting for materials a lot more fun. ![]() These animations are also applied to mobs. You can either increase gravity, which makes the broken block pieces fall faster to the ground, or you can decrease it so that they float into the air. This mod also allows you to configure the gravity you want. This means breaking a tree trunk makes a whole tree fall, as opposed to leaving floating leaves without this mod applied. Breaking a single block triggers the upper layers it supports to fall, mimicking how adjacent materials would fall in real life whenever anything that supports it underneath breaks. This neat mod isn’t just about blowing realistic pieces of dirt and cobblestones. ![]() For example, if we mine blocks of dirt using a pickaxe, the broken pieces only fly off a short distance from their origin, compared to blowing a TNT block which makes the particles scatter further. The scattering of particles also varies depending on the intensity and the method of how we break them. The Minecraft Physics mod offers better realism by making block pieces break into random shapes instead of the regular square particles. We are used to the regular mining animations vanilla Minecraft offers, but with this mod, the way we mine in-game changes completely. Physics inside Minecraft is probably one of the most sought-after elements since its release.
